Capacity Building for Stakeholders on Implementing the Draft National Productivity Master Plan
The
Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection, in cooperation with the Asian
Productivity Organization and the Mongolia Productivity Association, has
developed the draft National Productivity Master Plan (2026–2035) in line with
international methodologies.
Effective
implementation of the plan requires strong stakeholder capacity particularly
the ability to objectively assess implementation progress, conduct monitoring
and evaluation, and measure productivity impacts using both quantitative and
qualitative methods.
To
address this need, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection, in
partnership with the Asian Productivity Organization under an existing
Memorandum of Understanding, is organizing a two-day capacity-building training
for representatives of key stakeholders involved in implementing the National
Productivity Master Plan. The training focuses on monitoring and evaluation, as
well as skills for assessing productivity impacts.
The
training is led by consultants from the Asian Productivity Organization and
provides practical knowledge on conducting monitoring and evaluation and
assessing productivity impacts using Excel-based macroeconomic model simulation
tools.
More
than 40 representatives from 15 key institutions are participating in the
training, including the National Statistics Office, Cabinet Secretariat,
Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Family,
Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Food,
Agriculture and Light Industry, relevant government agencies, as well as the
Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions, the Mongolian National Chamber of
Commerce and Industry, and the Science and Technology Fund.
