Working Group Established to Draft the 2026–2028 National Tripartite Agreement on Labour and Social Partnership
The National
Tripartite Committee on Labour and Social Partnership convened to
discuss key labour and social partnership matters.
During the meeting, members reviewed and approved
draft resolutions on the agenda for the first half of 2026 and on the approval
of the updated list of labour arbitrators. The Committee also established a
dedicated working group tasked with drafting the 2026–2028 National Tripartite
Agreement on Labour and Social Partnership.
Under the Committee’s 2023 Resolutions No. 04 and
05, the list of labour mediators and labour arbitrators for the capital city
was approved. Subsequently, through Resolutions No. 08 and 09, the lists for provinces were confirmed. As a result, 61 labour mediators and 77
labour arbitrators are currently operating nationwide.
Of these, seven labour arbitrators are serving in
the capital. Due to an increasing caseload, where a single arbitrator is
handling multiple disputes, the Committee discussed and approved an additional
list of 18 qualified labour arbitrators who meet the legal and professional
requirements.
Minister of Family, Labour and Social Protection
and Chair of the National Tripartite Committee, T.
Aubakir, emphasized that Mongolia’s development should not be
measured solely by infrastructure and investment, but also by how effectively
the rights and interests of working citizens are protected. He reaffirmed the
Government’s commitment to strengthening social partnership and safeguarding
freedom of association, while working closely with trade union organizations in
the coming years.
