Consultation Provided to Provincial and District Specialists

Yu. Otgonbileg, Director of the Social Welfare Policy Department of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection; D. Gerel, Director General of the General Authority for the Development of Persons with Disabilities; and T. Badrakhbayar, Director General of the Social Welfare Policy Department of the General Office for Labour and Social Welfare Services, met with specialists responsible for disability affairs from the 21 provinces and 9 districts. During the meeting, they provided guidance and information on the implementation of newly approved and revised regulations and procedures.

Specifically, the regulation on providing assistance and benefits to persons with disabilities has been revised and will take effect starting December 1. The updated regulation includes measures to reduce paper-based documentation and expand digital service delivery.

They also presented information on the newly revised Food and Nutrition Support Regulation, as well as the Active Ageing Support Program implemented under the Law on Senior Citizens. The officials listened to issues faced at the primary level and offered relevant advice.

The leadership emphasized the importance of having a unified understanding of social welfare legislation and ensuring that services are delivered promptly and without unnecessary delays.
