Refresher Training for Senior and State Child Rights Inspectors Begins
The Ministry of Family
Labour and Social Protection has launched a refresher training program for
senior and state child rights inspectors, taking place from 17–19 November
2025.
The training covers a wide range of topics, including the Child
Rights Inspector’s Regulations, the general mandates of child rights
inspectors, procedures for reviewing and resolving child rights violations, key
responsibilities of senior inspectors and supervisors, and approaches to
addressing violations in the media, broadcasting, and digital environments.
Participants will also engage in sessions on public service ethics and the code
of ethics for social work professionals through lectures, discussions, and
group work.
A total of 60 officials are attending the
training, including representatives from the Ministry Family Labour and Social
Protection, the General Agency for Child and Family Development and Protection,
and child and family development departments and divisions from 21 provinces and
9 districts, as well as state child rights inspectors.
The refresher program is supported under the “Protecting
Children from Trafficking” project, jointly implemented by The
Asia Foundation and World Vision Mongolia, in cooperation with the Government
of Mongolia and the U.S. Department of State.
