Over 800 Delegates Participate in the “Children–Love–Future” National Forum
In honour of the
100th anniversary of the establishment of Mongolia’s child-focused
organizations and movements, as well as World Children’s Day, the “Children–Love–Future”
National Children’s Forum held on 19th November 2025
at the State Palace.
Representing more than 1.28 million children aged 0–18
across Mongolia, over 800 children aged 13–17 from
21 provinces, 330 soums, and 9 districts are attending the event. The forum
aims to hear directly from Mongolian children about their aspirations, values,
and priorities, convey their proposals to decision-makers, and ensure their
voices are reflected in future national laws and policies.
The forum is jointly organized by the Ministry of Family, Labour
and Social Protection and the National Authority for Children and Families,
with support from UNICEF.
Messages of support from G. Zandanshatar, Prime Minister of
Mongolia and Chair of the National Council for Children; T. Aubakir,
Minister for Family, Labour and Social Protection; and Evariste Kouassi-Komlan,
UNICEF Representative in Mongolia, were delivered to the young delegates.
B. Dashnyam, Chair of the Mongolia Children’s
Council, presented an inspiring keynote speech titled “Children of the New
Century,” encouraging and motivating his peers. Discussions were
held under the themes “My Family,” “My Education,” “My Mental Health,” “My
Participation,” and “My Digital Life,” where children actively expressed their
thoughts and ideas.
Every child has the right to develop—meaning not only access to
education, but also opportunities to fully realize their physical,
intellectual, emotional, and creative potential. Issues related to children’s
development, protection, and quality of environment remain central to the
country’s development agenda.
Children also have the full right to participate, express their
views on matters affecting them, and have their voices heard at decision-making
levels.
