725 Individuals Trained in 17 High-Demand Occupations under Skills Development Program
A meeting was held
to present the implementation, evaluation report, and outcomes of the "Market-Driven
Skills Development Program." Since 2020, the Ministry of Family and Labour
Social Protection, with financial support from the World Bank, has been
implementing the “Emergency Support and Employment Project.”
Within the framework of this project, the Ministry’s Training, Evaluation, and
Research Institute organized skills training programs targeting 17 occupations
currently in high demand in the labour market.
A total of 725 individuals participated in the skills development
training. In addition, 300 individuals received occupational specialization
training, and 200 individuals took part in Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
assessments to validate their existing knowledge and skills.
The program was notable for enhancing participants’ skills and
improving their employment prospects. The outcome evaluation and process study
of the program were conducted by the Institute for Social
Policy and Development Studies,
which also provided methodological support and collaborated throughout the
research process.
