Meeting with the progress of the construction of the new hospital for occupational diseases

Mr. S. Zulpkhar, Deputy Minister for Labour and Social Protection and Chairman of the National Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, oversaw the advancements made in the construction of the Occupational Disease Research Hospital of the Center for Occupational Safety and Health.

As of the present date, the construction of the hospital building has been completed, and the focus has shifted to the interior arrangement, including electrical and plumbing works. Deputy Minister S. Zulpkhar directed the relevant officials to prepare and present a research report detailing the investment required for medical equipment.

The new hospital facility will be a 3rd level hospital featuring both inpatient and rehabilitation departments equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment. The Occupational Disease Research Hospital currently conducts medical examinations and diagnostics for approximately 79-80 thousand individuals annually, representing over 200 organizations, through both fixed and mobile setups. A significant portion of the hospital's clientele comes from industries such as mining, road transport, and construction. Given the substantial number of local visitors, the provision of inpatient facilities is deemed crucial.

Funding for the construction of the new hospital for occupational diseases has been secured through allocations from the 2022 state budget.
