We are working to prepare and submit a
report on the implementation of the Incheon Strategy for the Realization of the
Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Asia-Pacific Region.
In 2014, Mongolia adopted the Incheon
Strategy for the Realization of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the
Asia-Pacific Region, a 10-year action plan to implement measures to socialize,
reduce barriers, and ensure equal participation of persons with disabilities in
the Asia-Pacific region received.
The Incheon Strategy Implementation
Report will be submitted to the Asia-Pacific Social and Economic Committee in
April 2022.
In this context, an inter-sectoral
working group has been established to develop a report by the Minister of Labor
and Social Welfare's Order No. A / 24 of 2022.
A
regular meeting of the working group was held on March 21. The meeting
identified achievements and challenges in the field of disability in Mongolia
over the past 10 years, and discussed the collected and consolidated reports on
relevant laws, policies, programs, their implementation, statistics and
research.
