Improve the planning and implementation of employment support activities and implement new pilot projects.
The National Employment Promotion Council convened to discuss and
approve key initiatives aimed at enhancing employment opportunities in 2025.
During the meeting, the council
reviewed and ratified several important measures, including:
- The updated Employment
Promotion Action Plan for 2025
- Pilot Projects for Employment
Promotion
- Amendments to the Labor Relations Program
- The draft of Occupational
Standards
- The 2025 budget
allocation for the Employment Promotion Fund
- Policy recommendations for improving employment-related
services
In 2025, the Employment Promotion Fund will finance five key employment promotion activities,
alongside six additional initiatives
identified by the Government and the National Employment Council.
Additionally, new pilot projects will be implemented to
expand employment services through public-private
partnerships, following international best practices. These include:
- Establishing a "Job
Center", a model employment service center aimed at enhancing
accessibility and providing comprehensive support
- Launching the "Development
Bridge Project", which will assist micro and small enterprises
established by individuals from vulnerable groups
As
part of the 'Labor Relations Program' aimed at supporting small and
medium-sized enterprises, organizations, and employers, additional provisions
were added to monitor the quality and performance of the consultants providing
advisory services, as well as to receive and address complaints and suggestions
related to their services. This was included with the approval of the members'
suggestions.
In
2025, the Ministry will place a strong emphasis on enhancing the planning
process of employment support activities funded by the Employment Support Fund.
Efforts will focus on addressing and rectifying issues related to the
implementation and performance of previous years, with the goal of achieving
significant improvements in these areas.
