Collaborating with International Organizations to Support Families
A
productive discussion was held with international organizations to enhance
policies and actions concerning family and child rights.
The
meeting brought together representatives from UNICEF, UNFPA, the International
Labour Organization (ILO), Save the Children Japan, World Vision International,
OneSky, Good Neighbors, the International Development Law Organization (IDLO),
the Lorinet Foundation, and the General Authority for Child and Family
Development.
Acting
Director of the Family Policy Department at the Ministry of Family, Labour and
Social Protection, Mr.Tsogtbaatar Mangalsuren delivered a comprehensive
presentation on "The Current Situation, Policies, Legal Environment and
Reforms for Families and Children."
The participants
shared insights exchanged updates organizational activities,and discussed 2025
planning initiatives.
To
strengthen collaboration, the Ministry and international organizations agreed
to institutionalize regular meetings focused on:
- Reviewing the implementation
and impact of family support policies and programs.
- Establishing a task force to
combat child labour and develop effective policy responses.
- Enhancing child protection
mechanisms, and disasters response strategies.
- Addressing financial allocations
for child protection services and related priorities.
