"The Launch of On-Demand Skills Training Program to Meet Labor Market Needs"

Today marks the commencement of the "On-Demand Skills Training Program," aimed at providing comprehensive professional training and qualification measures tailored to the demands of the labor market, employer requirements, and individual aspirations.

This initiative is part of the "Emergency Relief and Employment Support Project for Mongolia," funded by the World Bank. The project's overarching goal is to enhance job seekers' and micro-entrepreneurs' access to labor market opportunities and offer temporary relief to eligible workers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Key components of the program include competency assessment and certification for individuals seeking to validate their professional skills acquired through informal training and life experiences.

Participants enrolled in the program will receive support in securing employment opportunities and generating income. The program is open to unemployed citizens, job seekers, individuals aiming to enhance their qualifications, and those seeking to assess their existing knowledge and skills.

Vocational training will be organized across 20 professions spanning eight sectors, namely food production, agriculture, industry, construction, mining, environment, tourism, road transport, and information technology. This strategic approach ensures alignment with labor market demands and workforce needs, thereby fostering sustainable employment outcomes
