A meeting was convened to discuss the establishment of "Unitel HUB"

Initiated in 2022, the establishment of the "Unitel Hub" center aimed to support e-education for children and youth, leveraging the infrastructure of the Youth Development Center. During the meeting, the participants deliberated on and assessed the outcomes of this collaborative endeavor.

In attendance were H.E.Ms. Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar, Minister of Labour and Social Protection, and Ms. N. Bayarmaa, Director of Family Policy Implementation Coordinating Department, Ms. A. Enkhchimeg, Deputy Director of Marketing at "Unitel" Group, and Ms. H. Battuya, Youth Program Expert from the United Nations Population Fund. Additionally, representatives from the private sector and international organizations participated.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Unitel Group, and the United Nations Population Fund jointly established the Unitel hub hall to foster the technical acumen of children and youth, promoting internet literacy, computer skills, and the opportunity for constructive learning and development during leisure time. The initiative began in 2022 in Darkhan-Uul province and expanded to 12 provinces in 2023, with plans for further expansion to other provinces and remote districts of the capital in 2024.

Under the project, supported by over 540 million MNT from the "Unitel" Group, experts from the Youth Development Center are being trained as instructors. They provide courses covering basic electronics understanding, "Electrokid" training on micro-programming Arduino boards, robot assembly, and coding programming.

During the meeting, the parties discussed achievements, lessons learned, and cooperation goals. They also explored ways to introduce information and awareness programs about the "Robokid" and "Electrokid" courses offered at the "Unitel Hub" center, with the aim of encouraging productive leisure activities and fostering creativity among children and teenagers.

A heartfelt "Thank you" was extended to the "Unitel" group for their proactive support of children and youth development, setting a commendable example for private sector organizations. The establishment of the "Unitel Hub" center was made possible through effective public-private-international cooperation. H. Battuya, the Youth Program Expert from the United Nations Population Fund, who played a pivotal role in coordinating the organization's cooperation and supporting the initiative, was honored with the title and medal of "Leader in the field of social protection" on behalf of all children and youth.
