Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Mr. S. Zulpkhar, actively engaged in a discussion organized by the Development Center of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

The Development Center hosted the "Policy Discussion on Social Protection and Development," with the 4th round focusing on the theme "Expansion and Aging of the Informal Labor Market: Is Social Protection a Solution to the Problem?"

During the session on "Increasing Coverage of Social Welfare Pensions," Deputy Minister Zulpkhar participated remotely, providing insights into the government's policies and measures concerning pensions, including social welfare pensions. Mr. Zulpkhar, delivered a speech outlining the measures implemented to safeguard the social protection rights of the population since the establishment of the social protection system. Additionally, he shared information on social protection measures implemented to support livelihoods during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Representatives from the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Senegal, the Republic of Malawi, the Republic of Kenya participated in the meeting, offering valuable insights and information.
