Mrs. Bulgantuya.Kh, The Minister of Labour and Social Protection met Mr. Tanaka Shinichi, the head of JICA's representative office in Mongolia

H.E.Mrs. Bulgantuya.Kh, The Minister of Labour and Social Protection met the delegation headed by H.E.Mr. Tanaka Shinichi, the head of JICA's representative office in Mongolia. At the beginning of the meeting, Minister highlighted the effective implementation of the projects and program measures that JICA has worked on in the past in the areas of support for population groups, social insurance and pensions, and presented the progress of the current projects and issues to be considered in the future. For example, Mongolia needs to pay attention to the problems of preparing for the upcoming age, care of the elderly, nursing, and social security, and expressed its willingness to cooperate in training personnel in this field. She also pointed out that there is a lot to be learned from Japan, which has world-leading experience in social issues and services for disabled people, and that there is much to introduce and localize in our country. At the end of the meeting, JICA gave a brief presentation on the issues planned for further cooperation and implementation by the international organization.
