SDG-Aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia” project

The European Union funded “SDG-Aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia” project aimed to promote employment through result-based policy and budget, held its annual Steering Committee meeting to present key results and achievements of 2023 and discuss and approve next year's action plan. The project has been implemented since 2021 by UNDP in cooperation with UN sister agencies FAO and ILO, has significantly contributed to linking result-based budgeting with policy; improving budget oversight and transparency; promoting employment and aligning legal and regulatory frameworks of Mongolia with international labour standards. UNDP deeply acknowledges continuous support and commitment of Government of Mongolia, Budget oversight bodies, Civil Society Organizations and other important partners for successful implementation of the project.
