Ms. Laurel E. Miller, the newly appointed President and CEO of The Asia Foundation, has started her first official visit to Mongolia today with meetings with government representatives.

She held a discussion with Ms. Kh.Bulgantuya, Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament), and Minister of Labor and Social Protection on issues of gender inequality in Mongolia, especially women's decreasing labor force participation in the economy, women’s rights issues, and the need for promotion of access to finance for micro and small-scale women-led enterprises given the light of the most recent submission of "The Law on Enhancing Economic Participation of Women Entrepreneurs" with The Asia Foundation.
