CONGRATULATIONS TO ABILIMPT SUCCESSFUL PARTICIPANTS
The 10th Abilimp-2023 World Skills
Competition was held in Metz, France on March 22-26. More than 650 participants
from 27 countries participated in the competition in 45 professions.
The Mongolian team participated in the
competition for the second time. This time, 13 participants with disabilities
participated in such professions as carpentry, cooking, baking, massage, manicurist,
embroidery, hairdressing, tailoring, poster design, and carving. Selenge.Kh, Hovd
province participant took third place in the embroidery category and won a
bronze medal. Also, Bolormaa.B in the bakery category, Munkhbat.T in the
horticulture category, Khuvituguldur.O in the woodwork carpentry category,
Zorigtbaatar.L in the massage category, and Sergelen.B in the manicure category
competed respectively. It was ranked 11th out of 27 countries.
Ms.Tungalagtamir.S, Director of the Population
Development Policy Implementation and Coordination Department, Mr.Nyamsuren.Ts,
Director of the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities,
and Mr. Oyunbaatar.Ts, President of the Mongolian Abilimpic Association,
congratulated the successful team. During the vocational skills competition,
not only did Mongolia promote Mongolia by exhibiting products produced by
people with disabilities, but also the teachers of Vocational Education and
Skills Training School T. Odontugs.T, Gonchigjav.B, Zagdtsend.O and Otgon.L
were selected for the first time as international judges of the competition.
