Signed the memorandum of the project to support the independent living by supporting the employment of the target group of citizens

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection is launching a new pilot project with a grant from JICA International Cooperation Organization. Mr. Unurbayar.G, State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and Mr. Tanaka Shinichi, Head of the Representative Office of the JICA International Cooperation Organization in Mongolia, signed the project to start the project "Support the independent living by supporting the employment of the target group of citizens”.

The pilot project will be implemented in 2023-2027. Basic research will be conducted to improve the "Laboг Preparation Program" funded by the Employment Support Fund, and the pilot project will be developed to prepare the necessary human resources, determine training methods, develop training materials, and create a network of training institutions in Ulaanbaatar. 1500 families of the target group will be implemented in 2 districts and one province.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and the "JICA" International Cooperation Organization jointly successfully implemented the " Project on Strengthening the Capacity for Social insurance operation" and "The Project for Promoting Social Participation of Persons with Disabilities in Ulaanbaatar City". The Project for Promoting Employment of Persons with Disabilities /DPUB2/ is jointly implemented.
