The State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection received the UN Expert on Arbitrary Detention

Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and officials
received the UN Experts on Arbitrary Detention who came to evaluate the
implementation of human rights and freedoms in Mongolia.
At the meeting, information was given
on the relevant legal framework, its implementation and policy measures regarding
children’s rights and social protection of the elderly.
On the 14th of this month,
a team of experts led by Ms. Elina Steinerte will present their preliminary
findings to the public, working in places where human rights and freedoms may
be restricted, such as prisons, police station, child care center,
organizations for migrants, and people with intellectual disabilities.

meeting.
