S.Amarsaikhan, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, received the delegation led by H.E. Mr Vedat Bilgin, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Turkey, who is on an official visit to Mongolia with the invitation of H.E.Mrs A.Ariunzaya, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection.

Although our two countries are geographically distant, they are connected by centuries of history and culture. In this sense, Mongolia defines the Republic of Turkey as its Third Neighbor in its foreign policy concept and attaches great importance to the development of bilateral relations and cooperation. At the beginning of the meeting, S.Amarsaikhan, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, expressed his satisfaction that the relations between our two countries have reached the level of comprehensive partnership and are actively developing in many fields such as politics, economy, defence, culture, education, and social security.

He also emphasized that the trade turnover between Mongolia and Turkey has increased in recent years, tourism has developed, and the direct flights of national airlines have enriched the relationship between the two countries with new content.

In addition, they expressed their desire to furtherly expand trade and economic cooperation with the Republic of Turkey, improve social security for the citizens of both countries, train students and youth in workplaces, and jointly implement policies and programs to increase employment.

Mongolia and the Republic of Turkey established diplomatic relations on June 24, 1969, and Turkey opened its embassies in Mongolia in 1997 and Mongolia in Turkey in 1996.

With the grant of Turkey, our country's agriculture, food processing industry, urban development planning, water treatment facilities, afforestation, small and medium industry development, infrastructure, energy, transportation, education, culture, science, tourism, since 1994, more than 760 projects and programs have successfully implemented in the health sector.

Examples, the construction of a 46-kilometre road from Kharkhorin-Khushuu tsaidam, restoration of Turkish monuments, construction of a blood centre near the Central Hospital of the State Clinic, as well as the electronic archive of the Government Secretariat, Mongolia-Turkey Friendship Park, "Khas-e ” can be mentioned such major projects.
