The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection organized capacity-building training and discussion for social workers in Ovorkhangai province.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection held training and discussion on "Policies and methods of social work and services for working with children and families" and "Methodology of social work for child victims of sexual violence and their families" at the Family, Children and Youth Center of Ovorkhangai Province. It was organized among the social workers of the Development Department, Police Department, Health Department, One Point Service Center, and the Joint Teams of Sums.

A.Ishdorj, the governor of the province and the head of the Council for Children, in his speech opening the training and discussion, emphasized the importance of children's development, growth and upbringing, and the need for social workers to pay attention to them.

In the training and discussion, N.Bayarmaa, Head of the Family Policy Implementation Coordination Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, on the topic of "Policies, Measures, and Future Goals of Social Work Services Working with Children and Families", and S.Undrah, Deputy Governor of Uvorkhangai Province, Responsible for Social Policy on the topic of "Policies, measures and results implemented in the field of family and children in Ovorkhangai Province" gave a keynote speech. Also, relevant experts and consultants from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Finance, Department of Family, Children and Youth Development, and General Police Department are conducting training and information on methods of social work and services for children and families.
