We urge you to implement Article 43.3 of the Labor Law or "Child Protection Policy"

The "Child-Friendly Mongolia" national conference was organized by the Family, Children and Youth Development Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund, the International Development Rights Organization, and the World Vision International Organization on the initiative of B.Bayarsaikhan, a member of the State Parliament. 

In anticipation of the conference, a two-stage panel discussion was held from April 13 to May 27, 2022, and more than 41,000 representatives from 21 provinces, 9 districts of the capital, all ministries, agencies, international and civil society organizations, children, and parents participated. 

107 opinions at the industry level and 118 opinions at the national level, looking for a solution TOGETHER, based on the basic principle of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, "providing the best interests of the child", and implementing the "child protection policy" by Article 43.3 of the Labor Law reached.

The Conference will be organized under the following themes: Child Protection in Education, Child Protection in Health Services, Child Protection in the Media and Online Environment, Child Protection in Community, Cultural and Sporting Events, Child Development and Participation Friendly Environment, and Access to Infrastructure, Child-Friendly Rights They discussed topics such as natural environment, preventing children from crimes, violations, and accidents, and organizations and enterprises should implement child protection policies aimed at ensuring the work-life balance of their employees and create a child-friendly environment that meets the best interests of children.

At the end of the meeting, parents were encouraged to understand their children, listen to their problems and fulfill their duty to raise them in a safe environment, based on the basic principle of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, "Ensuring the best interests of the child", and to implement the "Child Protection Policy" in Article 43.3 of the Labour Law.
