H.E. Mrs. A.Ariunzaya, the Minister for Labour and Social Protection received the delegation led by Mrs. Asa Lindestam, the First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Sweden or the Riksdag, who are visiting Mongolia.

At the meeting, the policies, goals, and activities of Mongolia's labour and social Protection sector were introduced, the social protection policy of the Kingdom of Sweden was discussed and the experience was exchanged.

The Agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and Sweden on Air Transport was approved in 1997, and the Agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and Sweden on Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments was approved in 2003.

According to unofficial numbers, more than 12,000 Mongolian citizens are living in Sweden.

At the end of the meeting, Minister H.E. Mrs. A.Ariunzaya expressed that the two countries would be happy to cooperate in the future by exchanging mutual experience in the field of labour and social protection.
