H.E. Mrs. A. Ariunzaya, Minister of Labour and Social Protection worked in Nairamdal, Nars, Javkhlant, Narlag, and Anar children camps last Saturday and Sunday.

The camps familiarized the minister with the preparation process and environment for receiving children listened to their problems and exchanged opinions on how to solve them.

Nairamdal camp will start accepting children from June 3rd. There are issues in this camp that have been delayed for years due to budget constraints for renovation and construction works. There is a heating supply, construction of a water sports complex, building maintenance, etc. We met with the management of the camp and representatives of the contractor company to discuss the problems and their solutions.

A common problem in private camps is the cost of land. Camp operators say that the high land fee causes a great financial burden. He also said that the bureaucracy of some government officials affects their activities.

There are 56 registered camps in the country, 23 of them are located in the local area and 33 are in the vicinity of Ulaanbaatar.
