Health, Education and Social Protection of Children with Disabilities organized training for members of the commission in the eastern region.
Empowering and intensifying the activities of the executive staff of the Commission for Health, Education and Social Security of Disabled Children, the Branch Council for Ensuring the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and other related public service organizations, providing professional and methodological support for the implementation of newly approved legal documents and solving pressing problems. capacity building training in the eastern region was organized in Dornod province.
The training was organized with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund. The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Department of Pediatrics and Neurosciences under the Ministry of Health provided information on relevant topics.
By training, Government Resolution No. 173 of 2021 "Regulations of the Health, Education, and Social Protection Commission for Children with Disabilities", Joint Resolution A/220, A/475, A/812 of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection, Education, Science, and Health of 2021 order "Methodology for comprehensive development support for disabled children", joint order A/807, A/216 of 2021 of the Minister of Health, Labour and Social Protection "List of diseases and injuries of children with disabilities aged 0-16 who need constant care and criteria"- introduced the newly approved legal documents, provided common understanding and professional methodological support.
The training was attended by members of the branch committee for health, education, and social protection of disabled children of Dornod, Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Govisumber, and Dornogovi provinces, the secretary of the branch council for ensuring the rights of people with disabilities, the head of the Department of Education and Science, the head of the Health Department, A total of 89 representatives of the health, education and social security sectors participated.
In addition, the "Disability and Equality" training to increase awareness and understanding of disabilities was conducted by the employees of Khuvsgul Province's Department of Family, Children, and Youth, Department of Labor and Welfare Services, Department of Social Insurance, Department of Health, family doctor, general hospital doctor, Support team members of secondary schools and preschool education support team members organized for more than 200 employees and managers of public institutions.
This course is important because it provides a comprehensive understanding of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, government policies, laws and legal concepts, implementation of rules, and how to implement coordination and cooperation between sectors to ensure the rights of children with disabilities.
