An exchange program for Mongolian-Turkish students to share their experiences, spread their heritage, and exchange has started in Ulaanbaatar.
Within the framework of
the program, the students of the Cook and Baker class of the Rehabilitation,
Training and Production Center will teach each other about the special
traditions of national cuisine, cook together, and learn from each other's
customs along with 10 students from the Republic of Turkey.
H.E.Mr. S. Zulphar,
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection, in his speech opening the
exchange program for students of the two countries, emphasized the special
importance of this program, which gave students the opportunity to learn about
each other's experiences, and said, "The most important thing in any study
is to share what you know with others. There is no doubt that this measure will
stimulate many efforts to promote the employment of people with disabilities. I
hope Mongolian and Turkish students will actively learn from each other and
create good memories."
The rehabilitation, training
and production center established cooperation with the Turkish International
Cooperation Association /TIKA/ in January 2022, and in June 2022, by improving
the training camp for chefs, bakers and production classes, 35 types of 100
million MNT dedicated classrooms with equipment were prepared. The student
exchange program is also organized within the framework of the cooperation with
the support of TIKA.
Jelan Atmaja, deputy
program coordinator of TIKA in Ulaanbaatar, E. Tamir, head of the General
Department of Development of People with Disabilities, and S. Bayarbat, head of
the Rehabilitation, Training and Production Center participated in the event
and wished the students success.
