The head of the department and letters of commendation was handed over to the employees of the 108 telephone service center for child support

H.E. Mrs. A.Ariunzaya, Minister of Labour and Social Protection presented letters of appreciation to the employees of the Children's Help 108 telephone service center who work with heart and effort for children.

A.Muren, Consultant psychologist, S.Enkhsansarmaa, Consultant psychologist, and G.Batchimeg, Senior social worker were awarded as "Head of Department" of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection. Also M.Egelzaya, a Social worker, B.Nomin, a Senior social worker, and P.Myadagmaa, a Senior Social Worker were awarded a “Letter of Commendation” from the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.

International Children's Helpline Day is on May 17 every year. Our country also celebrates this day. As of today, 173 children's helplines are operating in 168 countries.

In 2005, Mongolia first opened the Children's Helpline under the name "Close Friend-1979". However, in 2014, the National Council for Children decided to increase the number of children's helplines to 108 by making a 3-digit number. Thus, since 2016, it has been expanded to 108 telephone service centers for Children's Aid.

As of the first quarter of 2022, more than 26,000 calls were received to 108 child helplines.
