Meeting with parents of disabled children and representatives of NGOs

In collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Ministry of Health, the Department of Control and Regulation of Medical Devices, the General Department of Health Insurance, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, and the National Center for Mental Health, Uilst Bor Undur, Dear Precious Pearl, Merciful World, Parents with Disabled Children association, representatives of non-governmental organizations such as the Honest Association of People with Disabilities and some parents of children with disabilities. The meeting discussed the priority issues related to the quality, availability, and supply of medicines for children with disabilities.

As a result of the meeting, the provisions related to the improvement of the pharmaceutical legal environment of the draft revision of the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices were reworked.

Also, it was decided to immediately set up a working group responsible for increasing the number of drugs for falls and seizures, adding liver protection drugs to the list of discounted drugs, and solving other related problems.

Also, the part-time council for ensuring the rights of people with disabilities under the Ministry of Health will be organized next week in an expanded form, including representatives of parents with children with disabilities and representatives of people with disabilities.

In addition, the National Center for Maternal and Child Health will organize a meeting to provide detailed information and advice to parents and guardians of children with disabilities.
