Minister of Labour and Social Protection H.E. Mrs. A.Ariunzaya received the members of the working group from the Central Branch of the International Monetary Fund.
The working group is working to assess the
current state of our country's economy, update its medium-term macroeconomic
projections, and discuss budget, monetary, and financial policy issues with
relevant government and other institutions.
Information was given about the government's
policy on issues such as labour market, labour force participation, pension
reform, wages, mother and child benefits, social security, legal reform, and
budget planning for next year.
The meeting was attended by Mrs. Angana Banerji,
head of the IMF's working group for Mongolia, Yoon SeokHyun, the resident
representative of the IMF in Mongolia, David Corvino, the economist in charge
of the sector, Pranav Gupta, the budget economist, Manabu Nose, the budget
economist, and Ardak Bazarbai, the translator of the IMF's representative
office, B.Hulan, economist of the IMF resident office, A.Khishigbayar, the head
of the Policy and Planning Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social
Security, B.Altantulga, the head of the employment and workplace support
department, and Z.Khuslen, the head of the foreign cooperation and public
relations department participated.
