“Pre-Flight program” has started.
A pre-flight
program has been launched to provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive
education for adolescents to live independently and make decisions.
The Ministry of
Labour and Social Protection, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund's Youth and
Adolescent Development Program, launched a pre-flight program in Arvaikheer
sum, Uvurkhangai province, to provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive
education for adolescents to live independently and make decisions.
45 children aged
15-16 from the dormitory of the Polytechnic College of Uvurkhangai province attended the opening ceremony of the program. Within the framework of the event,
children were introduced to the activities of government organizations that
target children and young people.
The event was organized in the form of a relay station.
The pre-flight
program will be disseminated nationally in cooperation with the Family, Child, and
Youth Development Departments of provinces and capital.
Within the framework of the event, the
Governor's Office of the province, the Department of Education and Science, the
Department of Family, Child, and Youth Development, the Department of Health,
the 1st and 2nd secondary schools, and the dormitories of secondary schools
were inspected. Also, a meeting with the Provinces Deputy Governor, the Head of
the Social Development Department, and other relevant officials was launched to
provide information on the Ministry of Labour and
Social Protection's policy reforms in the field of family, child, and youth
development protection.
