Minister for Labour and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya participated in the Ministerial Roundtable of the 66th Session of the Women's Welfare Commission.

The delegation, led by Minister for Labour and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya, is taking part in the 66th session of the Women's Welfare Commission, which is being held in New York on March 14-26.

Minister Ariunzaya at the Ministerial Roundtable on “Women's Voices: The Environment, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Policies and Programs on March 15” participated online.

She introduced that Mongolia has acceded and implemented relevant international treaties and conventions to combat climate change, as well as adopted policies and laws such as the Law on Environmental Protection, the Law on Disaster Protection and the Vision 2050. She also provided information on the Government of Mongolia's efforts to combat climate change and desertification, reduce air pollution and prevent disasters.
