Conference within the framework INSPIRE: Intensify strategies for ending violence against children among the East Asia and Pacific region during COVID-19 pandemic

 



The conference within the framework INSPIRE: Intensify strategies for ending violence against children among the East Asia and Pacific region during COVID-19 pandemic is being organized for five days between 1-5th of November 2021 by WHO and UNICEF.

 H.E.A.Ariunzaya gave a speech at this high-level conference, and Ms. N.Bayarmaa, Director of Family Policy Implementation and Coordination Department of MLSP, presented on the subject “Achievements and Lessons learnt in Mongolia on the elimination of corporal punishment by legislative reform and influence on public attitudes”.



 Mongolia has joined the Global Partnership for the Elimination of Violence against Children in 2017, and has been working with international organizations, such as WHO, UNICEF, World Bank and etc., committing to the We Protect movement on protecting children’s rights in online platform, and implementing INSPIRE package of strategies to end violence against children, as well as cooperating with other foreign countries to promote our good practices and get introduced to the best
