H.E. A.Ariunzaya receives Jana Zilkova, Head of Mission of Caritas Czech Republic in Mongolia

During the meeting, Head of Mission Jana Zilkova provided information about her organization, ongoing projects and future activities, and discussed bilateral cooperation. 

CCR is headquartered Prague, Czech Republic, and has placed its missions in the following five countries, such as Georgia, Moldavia, Iraqi, Zambia and Cambodia besides Mongolia. The Permanent Representative Office in Mongolia was established in 2007. In addition to Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, it operates in Bayankhongor, Selenge, Tuv, Uvurkhangai, Dornogovi, Bulgan, Zavkhan and Khentii aimags (provinces). 

Its funding comes from the European Union, the SWITCH-Asia program, the Czech Development Agency, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Czech Republic. 

CCR has been successfully implementing projects and programs in Mongolia to empower young people, ensure the sustainability of plastic waste recycling, support resource efficiency and clean production in the construction sector, and strengthen civil society and local government cooperation in Khentii aimag's agricultural sector.

In the future, the “All for Youth, Youth for All” project will cooperate with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection to support youth development and participation, make recommendations to empower them, introduce waste recycling and promote consumption patterns and behaviors to the employees of the Ministry.
