“Positive Mongolia 2021” Youth Employment Forum on “Youth Participation in Development-Employment”

At the 70th session of the UN General Assembly, the leaders of the countries adopted the "Sustainable Development Goals 2030". Accordingly, the "Positive Mongolia" Forum aims to exchange knowledge and experience between NGOs, build cooperation and increase the effectiveness of positive change as a guide to the world's long-term policy to achieve sustainable development based on three pillars: society, economy, and environment. poverty reduction, and quality education.

This year, JCI Mongolia is organizing the "Positive Mongolia" 2021 Forum on "Youth Participation in Development-Employment" on 20, 23 and 27 September with the aim of promoting employment. The forum is organized by the Government of Mongolia under the auspices of L.Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister, with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, UN agencies, ILO funding, and JCI Mongolia.

The conference will take place on September 20, 23, and 27, 2021, as part of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals to promote Decent Work and Economic Growth and Reduce Inequality.

Today, a panel discussion will be held on "Challenges for Youth Employment" and "Challenges for Employment of Persons with Disabilities" to identify the current situation and find solutions.

Representatives of international organizations, employers, governmental and non-governmental organizations are attending the discussion.

September 23: The first day of the group discussion will be a compilation of initiatives, good examples and solutions, and a joint appeal to government agencies, NGOs, and employers.

September 27: "Positive Mongolia" 2021 General Session, L.Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister of Mongolia, A.Ariunzaya, Minister for Labour and Social Protection, L.Enkh-Amgalan, Minister for Education and Science,  S.Enkhbold, Minister for Health and other officials will participate to discuss policy initiatives from the panel discussions that can be addressed at the policy level.

The day will also feature presentations by youth leaders calling for employment in the context of promoting, encouraging, and motivating youth participation in the development of the country.
