Today, two billion MNT from the sale of state registration plates of vehicles was transferred to the Children's Fund and handed over to A.Ariunzaya, Minister for Labor and Social Protection. The event was attended by Ya. Sodbaatar, Head of the Office of the President of Mongolia, L. Khaltar, Minister for Road and Transport Development, and Kh. Bayarkhuu, Deputy Director of the State-Owned Enterprise of the National Center for Road Transport.

The National Center for Road Transport under the Ministry of Road and Transportation Development organized 10 auctions and sold 1,126 vehicle numbers.

A.Ariunzaya, Minister for Labor and Social Protection said, “First of all, the money from the Fund for Children will be used to finance construction projects for them. Second, it encourages children to succeed in international and continental cultural and sports competitions and festivals. Third, it will support children with disabilities who qualify to participate in international and continental cultural and sports competitions and festivals. Thank you for raising MNT 2 billion from the number of auctions in the first half of the year. I am confident that our fund will grow up in the future.” She also stressed that the Foundation for Children will be spent in cooperation with the Ministry of Road and Transportation Development and other organizations for the protection and prevention of children from traffic accidents.
