Business Process Re-engineering Slated for the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities

A joint meeting and discussion was held between the leadership of the Government Control and Monitoring Agency and the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Protection.

During the meeting, P. Batbaatar, Head of the Government Control and Monitoring Agency and Chief Inspector, presented findings from recent surveillance studies, operational inspections, development policy monitoring, and evaluations of grievance redressal mechanisms across the Ministry and its subsidiary bodies. He further provided targeted recommendations on key areas requiring attention.

As part of national efforts to boost government productivity and deliver seamless, bureaucracy-free public services to citizens, a comprehensive business process re-engineering (BPR) initiative will be implemented at the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities. N. Bayarmaa, Head of the Surveillance Study and Policy Planning Department at the Government Control and Monitoring Agency, briefed attendees on the preparatory work for the initiative and outlined the specific support required from the Ministry.

Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection T. Aubakir stated, "Inspections should not be viewed as a burden, but rather as an opportunity to improve operations. As Minister, I will take the lead in implementing the conclusions and recommendations provided by the Government Control and Monitoring Agency, ensuring clear directives are issued and collaborative action is taken."

The meeting concluded with a decision to establish a joint working group tasked with executing the process re-engineering at the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities, with all preparatory work scheduled for completion within this month.
