Training and Consultation Meeting for Sector Officials Held in Darkhan-Uul Province
A
training and consultation meeting for officials in the family, labour, and
social protection sector was successfully organized in Darkhan-Uul Province
with the aim of strengthening inter-agency cooperation and enhancing the
capacity of local government personnel in the areas of human rights,
accessibility, and social protection.
A
total of 127 officials from provinces in Mongolia’s Central Region participated
in the event.
The
opening ceremony was attended by Member of Parliament and Minister of Family,
Labour and Social Protection T. Aubakir, Governor of Darkhan-Uul Province B.
Azjargal, and representatives and leaders from affiliated agencies and
organizations.
As
part of the event, presentations and discussions were held on several key
topics, including:
-Creating accessible workplaces and
improving the accessibility of infrastructure and information;
-Recent legal reforms concerning the rights
of persons with disabilities;
-Implementation of social protection
policies for older persons and persons with disabilities.
-The training and consultation meeting served as an important platform for strengthening intersectoral cooperation, improving policy coordination, and accelerating efforts to deliver high-quality and accessible public services at the local level.
