Programs to Promote Employment of Persons with Disabilities Presented
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection has
been consistently implementing phased measures to support persons with
disabilities, promote their participation in employment, and address social
challenges in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organizations.
As part of these efforts, a meeting and discussion was held
on April 2, 2026, to present programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing
employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.
During the session, the Ministry introduced its policies and
programs to support employment for persons with disabilities, along with detailed
information on the Employment Promotion Fund for Persons with Disabilities and
its expenditure. In addition, Mr.J.Enkhbaatar, Director of the Administration
and Management Department of the State Housing Corporation, and relevant
officials presented information on regulations governing the rental, ownership,
and sale of state housing to targeted groups.
Beyond sharing information, the meeting also aimed to listen
to the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and to explore ways to
incorporate their feedback into potential amendments to relevant laws and
regulations.
Promoting employment among persons with disabilities not
only increases individual and household income, but also enhances independence,
supports the transition from welfare to work, and contributes to overall
economic development.
