Collaboration to Enhance Digital Skills of Workforce

Deputy Minister of Family, Labour and Social Protection B. Solongoo met with Jahan Shamsiev Resident Representative of the EU bank for Reconstruction and Development in Mongolia, to discuss potential cooperation.

The Ministry of Family, Labour, and Social Protection has designated 2026 as the Year of Employment Promotion. Highlighting the significant impact of technological development, automation, and change on employment, Deputy Minister B. Solongoo emphasized the urgent need for workers across all social groups to enhance their digital competencies. She expressed the ministry’s interest in collaborating across all sectors to strengthen employees’ digital skills.

Mr. Jahan Shamsiev stated, “The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is ready to provide technical support and work jointly on specific projects.”
