Agreement Reached to Strengthen Results-Based Cooperation
The Government of Mongolia’s 2024–2028 Action Program and
the “300-Day Work Plan to Deliver Economic Growth to Citizens,” approved under
Resolution No. 236 of 2025, set targets to support youth and vulnerable groups
in employment, improve the livelihoods of 5,000 households, and create
30,000–40,000 jobs. In line with these objectives, the Ministry of Family,
Labour and Social Protection designated 2026 as the “Year of Employment
Promotion.”
To ensure coordinated management and organization of
measures under the “Year of Employment Promotion,” the Ministry established a
Steering Committee through Ministerial Order A/23 dated February 3, 2026. The
Committee includes representatives from central government agencies, social
partners, employers, and both national and international organizations.
On February 26, 2026, a consultative meeting was held to
incorporate the perspectives of stakeholders, expand cooperation, and discuss
ways to improve policy implementation, financing, and inter-sectoral
coordination.
As a result of the meeting,
participants agreed to finalize the action plan with a focus on practical
implementation and to strengthen results-based cooperation among all partners.
