Analysis of Unemployment Insurance Fund Operations Discussed

A working group, led by Deputy Minister of Family, Labour and Social Protection B. Solongoo, has been established to analyze the operations of the Unemployment Insurance Fund and develop proposals for amendments to relevant laws and regulations to ensure the Fund’s long-term revenue-expenditure balance.

The working group held its second meeting to review a comprehensive analysis of the Fund’s budget and budget execution data for the period 2016–2025.

Based on this analysis, the group decided to draft policy and organizational options to improve the operations of the Unemployment Insurance Fund. In addition, proposals will be developed for amendments and reforms to the General Social Insurance Law, the Law on Benefits Provided by the Social Insurance Fund, and other relevant laws and regulations.
