Steering Committee of the Integrated Project Implementation Unit Convenes
To enhance efficiency through unified policy coordination
and management of projects implemented in the family, labour, and social
protection sector with financing from the World Bank and the Asian Development
Bank, project units were consolidated in 2026. Accordingly, a Steering
Committee of the Integrated Project Implementation Unit was established by
order of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Protection.
The Steering Committee convened on February 11, 2026, and
reviewed the 2025 implementation reports of two major projects: the “Emergency
Support and Employment Project,” financed by the World Bank, and the “Ensuring
Inclusion and Improving Services for Persons with Disabilities Project,” funded
through financing and grants from the Asian Development Bank. During the
reporting period, both projects were successfully implemented in line with
their plans, achieving a budget execution rate of 97 percent.
The meeting also discussed and approved the 2026 operational
and procurement plans. Ms. L. Munkhzul, State Secretary of the Ministry of Family,
Labour and Social Protection and Chair of the Steering Committee, provided guidance
to ensure the effective and accountable implementation of the two projects in
2026, as well as to strengthen coordination and cooperation among all
stakeholders.
