Discussions Held on a Project to Support Women’s Employment
A meeting was held to discuss a project aimed at promoting
women’s employment.
Ms. L. Munkhzul State Secretary of the Ministry of Family,
Labour and Social Protection together with other senior officials, met with
representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), including B. Tsolmon,
Social Development Specialist and Project Leader, Amit Tendulkar, Senior
Specialist for Digital and Technology, and other relevant stakeholders.
During the meeting, participants discussed the ADB-financed
project titled “Promoting Green and Digital Economies among Women Entrepreneurs
in Mongolia.”
The parties exchanged views on the planning of a Community
and Business Development Center to be established in Khuvsgul Province under
the project. The center is envisioned as a fully accessible, green building
compliant with international green building standards and equipped with a
childcare daycare facility.
In addition, information was shared on expanding and further
developing the “e-Job” employment platform introduced by the Ministry of
Family, Labour and Social Protection, as well as introducing online training
modules to provide green and digital skills, and strengthening cooperation in
these areas.
The project concept also includes the establishment of a
nationwide digital service platform offering online training to build various
business skills and knowledge, featuring chatbot-enabled and
disability-friendly web content. The platform will also provide access to
individual and group advisory and consultation services.
