“Employment – Technical and Vocational Education and Training International Conference 2025” Held
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection,
together with the Institute of Population, Labour and Social Protection
Training and Research, the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education
and Training (KRIVET), and the TVET Partnership NGO (UNEVOC Centre in
Mongolia), jointly organized the “Employment – Technical and Vocational
Education and Training International Conference 2025.”
Researchers and scholars from the institute delivered
presentations on topics including the role and significance of Korea’s National
Competency Standards, data-driven skills gap analysis, human resource
development policies, the current situation of Mongolia’s labour market,
employment policies, and labour market research. Discussions were also held on
labour demand and supply, National Competency Standards, and the profess qualifications and operations of Technical and Vocational Education and
Training (TVET) institutions.
During the conference, the Institute of Population, Labour
and Social Protection Training and Research and KRIVET signed a Memorandum of
Understanding to strengthen future cooperation.
