Training Held to Strengthen the Capacity of 498 Ethics Subcommittee Members
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection, in
cooperation with the National Ethics Committee of Mongolia, organized a
capacity-building training for 498 members of ethics subcommittees from 112
organizations within the sector.
During the training, Ts. Amartögs, Member of the Civil
Service Council and Chair of the National Ethics Committee, and A. Altanzul,
Associate Professor at the Academy of Management’s Department of Law, provided
participants with information and guidance on the Law on the Ethics of Civil
Servants, the operational procedures of ethics subcommittees, and other
relevant legislation.
Strengthening the capacity of ethics subcommittee members is
expected to improve the identification and mitigation of ethical risks, enhance
prevention and awareness-raising activities, and create a more ethical and
accountable working environment. It will also support more effective handling,
prevention, and resolution of ethical issues, including oversight and
accountability measures.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection aims for its organizations
to serve as a model of ethical conduct and responsibility, thereby
strengthening public trust in government.
