Enhancing Cooperation with Civil Society Organizations
The Ministry of
Family, Labour and Social Protection, in collaboration with the “Monfemnet National
Network” NGO, held a meeting with leaders and board members of 29 civil society
organizations. During the meeting, recent amendments to the Law on Senior
Citizens, as well as newly developed and approved Government resolutions and
Ministerial orders issued in 2024–2025 were presented.
Information was also
provided on the implementation of new services, including Active Ageing Support
Services, Alternative Care Services, service provider selection procedures, and
the progress made in 2025.
Yu. Otgonbileg,
Director General of the Social Welfare Policy Department of the Ministry along
with department specialists, and T. Badrakhbayar, Director General of the
Social Welfare Policy Department of the General Office for Labour and Social
Welfare Services, responded to participants’ questions and exchanged views on
feedback, requests, and matters related to the implementation of the law.
Going forward, the
Ministry will strengthen collaboration with civil society organizations and
enhance their participation in the implementation of the Law on Senior
Citizens.
