New Occupational Health Research Hospital Opens

In accordance with Resolution No. 45 of the Government of Mongolia issued on November 8, 2023, construction commenced on the new building of the Occupational Disease Research Hospital under the Centre for Occupational Safety and Health. The newly completed eight-story hospital, with a total floor area of 4,800 square meters, has now been officially commissioned.

With the commissioning of this facility, the operations of the Occupational Medicine Department and occupational safety and health prevention services will be consolidated. This will enhance the country’s capacity to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases, and will improve the efficiency and accessibility of occupational health services, including workplace safety training, occupational health care, and preventive interventions.
