Seven Elder Care Centres to Receive New Equipment

Ms. L. Munkhzul, State Secretary of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection, held a meeting with a delegation led by Emiko Masaki, Senior Health Specialist of the Human and Social Development Division at the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Ministry, in collaboration with ADB, has launched the “Developing Elderly Care Services and Systems” technical assistance project, as well as an associated grant project.

In connection with the project’s launch, the ADB delegation is conducting a mission to Mongolia from November 17–20, 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on establishing an effective long-term care system for the elderly in Mongolia, ensuring successful implementation of the project, strengthening engagement among relevant stakeholders, and building capacity at all levels. Both parties expressed their commitment to working together to achieve these objectives.

The meeting was attended by ADB Human and Social Development Specialist Jae Kyong Kim, Long-term Care Policy and Financing Consultants Soonman Kwon and Peter Chan, as well as Yu. Otgonbileg, Director of the Social Welfare Policy Department at the Ministry.
