The Training on “Strengthening Gender-Responsive Social Protection Capacity” held

The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia, in cooperation with UNICEF to Mongolia and the Government of Australia, organized a training titled “Strengthening Gender-Responsive Social Protection Capacity.”

In his opening remarks, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Protection of Mongolia T.Aubakir highlighted that:

“Mongolia has been working step by step to improve its social protection system and has made significant legal reforms. The revised Labour Law and Child Protection Law, as well as amendments to the Law on the Elderly, have been approved and are being implemented by the Parliament.”

The training, held on November 4, 2025, brought together UNICEF Representative to Mongolia Evariste Kouassi-Komlan, Deputy Head of Mission of the Australian Embassy Andrew Berriman, as well as representatives from international organizations, civil society, and academic institutions.
