Campaign to support employment of persons with disabilities continues in Khuvsgul Province

Under the slogan “Promoting Employment as the best welfare” the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Protection launched a comprehensive initiative to promote the employment of persons with disabilities starting May 15.

As part of this effort, a sectoral training and consultative meeting was held for local government staff and public servants from relevant agencies in Khuvsgul province, including the Governor’s office, Labour and welfare services, social insurance, and the development Center for persons with disabilities.

 During the meeting, officials were given guidance on sector policy updates, legal reforms, inter-agency coordination, and the importance of transparency and efficiency in service delivery.

In Mongolia, approximately 113,000 persons with disabilities of whom around 6000 reside in Khuvsgul province. The discussions focused on protecting their rights, creating an inclusive and accessible environment, and addressing local changes and solutions to support their employment opportunities.
